However, we like to emphasise that, like in many other professions, it's not only about what you can see as a patient that matters. Especially from a health point of view, the foundation, meaning the teeth and the gums underneath the veneers, bridges and crowns, matters just as much. Having something placed inside your own body will inevitably affect your oral health, your immune system and the overall health of your entire body, over years and even decades. Just as everyone understands that the foundation of a house, or the engine and suspension of a car, is at least as important, if not more, than the colour, shape or design.
